Hello all!

Been a while since I last updated. So what have I been up to? Well during the winter months I learned how to crochet hats and made about 6 or so. Finally after two years of having a sewing machine, I finally set it up to use…still have yet to make anything with it - but it is set up!

The boyfriend and I have also stumbled into the world of Warhammer 40k. And I will have to say, I am loving the lore. I have enjoyed watching him play some of the more recent games and I even play Tacticus on my phone. However, I never thought I would get into the actually miniatures. But I was wrong…and I am okay with that. I really lucked out on my first batch of miniatures. Long story short my favorite hobby shop got donated a whole bunch of partial kits and he had no way to sell them because it was all mismatched. So he gave me 3 boxes of this jumble of minis for FREE!! Scored big time! I did buy a full unopened kit from him as well. Just a reminder to support local shops!

There are a lot of Orks in the haul that I got. Which lucky for me - is where I wanted to start painting. With out further adieu, here is my first ever mini!!
